Excellent decor and very attentive staff. Seating and tables were really comfortable. Food was very good quality, especially the steak. missed the English mustard however Recommend the Show-and-Dine option!
Lovely restaurant and staff, however they need to find a way of keep the food hot. Plates are cold so there the food goes cold very quickly. This the second time if visiting, had to say something the first time about cold food. Just been again and nothing changed, food still luke warm, so soon went cold.
A lovely place for a coffee and a teacake. A lively atmosphere and friendly. A blast from the past. Would go again
Our food was absolutely delicious steaks, mushrooms etc , and it's one of the first times in ages we've been offered a delicious meal for my daughter that hasn't triggered her intolerances. The specially made fish was perfect. Service was superb from a friendly, funny, kind chap called Steve, who made my nephew feel top of the world celebrating his 10th birthday. We came on a theatre and dine experience - Will definitely come again.
Food was very delicious but the waiter's and waitresses were very stressed and running around. It wasn't very full. The table service wasn't ok. They ask us for drinks and food very quickly and the food came very quickly but they didn't ask you if you'd like some more drinks or any sauces for the meal. I noticed at the table next to us were four elderly people and two of them wanted to ask the waiter something but couldn't because he was running straight back to the kitchen after delivering the food to the table. I wouldn't mind waiting a little longer for my meal but having a waiter who is interacting with me. The food was very delicious and I probably would visit again. I had a good experience but they could have got more money if they would have asked me if I liked another drink.
Not brilliant but if you can get a show and dine package it's OK but not a very big choice of menu with the deal. Both the soup and the pate came with a very small piece of bread, for goodness sake don't be so tight, what's an extra bit of bread cost? A few pence. Would I eat there if it was not included in the deal? No, better choice and value meals to be had.
The only vegan option is the most incredibly bland burger I have ever eaten. Purple bread bun supposed to look fancy, all appearance over taste. Overpriced incredibly average food, with little imagination
Walk past!!! Vile frozen food heated up, had the sharer nachos were a few tortilla chips with a chilli that tasted it was out of a can. Told the waitress... she said people love it?? Rest of the sharer was just as bad would've sent it back and walked out only we where seeing a show. Avoid!!!
Had a lovely meal with my dad tonight. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Wheelchair accessible. Will be booking again.
Not a lot of choice. Had to ask for extra chips as a very small portion. Very slow service and it wasn't busy.
