I love this place, such beautiful furniture and at very reasonable prices. A fantastic layout within, and something new to discover in each room you look at. Lots of bits outside as well including some tents for sale too. A great place and friendly people, I got myself 3 books for £1.50! Bargain!
Excellent! Popped in on the recommendation of a friend and so pleased I did. Three very fine prints and four terrific books later... A fascinating building, each room has a theme and, if furnishing a house, it would definitely be my first port of call. Friendly and helpful staff and the smell of lunch being cooked in the on-site cafe was very tempting. Definitely will be visiting again soon.
Great variety of furniture, household goods etc, let down by the delivery. Spent all day waiting for 2 pieces of furniture to be delivered, reason given they had 2 large jobs on, would have thought to do deliveries first!
Had a very pleasant and interesting visit the stock was varied and prices were fair staff polite and friendly had a snack at the in-house cafe it was lovely and well presented must recommend the scones definitely going to be Our first stop for Our needs in future
Great charity shop with sooo many rooms and items to look through. They sell a few plants too. Also a lovely cafe. Lunch packs for kiddies for £2.50. A playground and a mini golf to entertain the younger and young at hearts. And of course the fact that Emmaus houses companions who work there is fantastic.
First time I went there it was an amazing place , well thought out , i must admit very helpful and very friendly people , really nice things that they sell old and new , i bought a oak table and a couple of chairs once again thankyou am impressed with this place . Also the cafe was amazing and very clean & the staff was veryful and thankyou for the nice Courgette cake lol
The cafe was lovely, but I found the items for sale quite expensive, which was a shame as I was looking for some furniture on a tight budget.
Excellent place , good cause. Made several purchases. Would highly recommend
The cafe at Emmaus is well worth a visit. It's small but has some outside seating as well, the selection of homemade cakes and scones are great and excellent value for money, large fruit or cheese scones £2 and coffee from £1-60 . The old nunnery to the rear is where all the second hand donated items are, again at sensible prices and well worth a look , most importantly its all in aid of a good cause.
What an amazing place with so much to see, we will definitely go back again
