Established in 1981, Emma's Coffee Lounge is one of the longest serving coffee lounges in Scarborough. Owned and run for 25 years by Michael Mort and his wife, Sophia. Michael, a fully qualified chef, ensures every aspect of their food is home-made using the finest ingredients. He is delighted to support local producers and suppliers. Serving breakfast, morning coffee, lunches and afternoon tea to the local Scarborough community and visitors with a team of outstanding staff. They are justifiably proud of their handmade cakes and pastries.

I was in town for a particular reason that day. My usual cafe was closed so went to Emma's instead, where I had a lovely jacket potato and beans and a  mint tea which came in a tall clear glass mug. Staff helpful and friendly, food good sized portion. Mint tea delicious, would go again. Good value for money.

Breakfast was great and my Yorkshire terrier enjoyed a taster of back bacon

Lovely little cafe. Very quaint with original features. Extremely friendly staff. Smashing spot for a cup of tea and a light lunch.

I went in with my dog, and was made to feel very welcome, the young lady working behind the counter was so lovely. My food was so nice, and I was taken with the style of the cafe and the decoration a hidden gem tucked down a side street. Just perfect. 

Lovely little find.  Even made me a chocolate eclair from scratch 

Really good little coffee shop, very welcoming and prices are reasonable for the town centre. Would recommend to everyone

Always enjoy visits to Emma's for morning coffee and lunch, situated close to town and the Spa.  Food freshly prepared and nicely served

Lovely little place, nice food, relaxed atmosphere, covid restrictions in place here.

Great service, breakfasts a bit small and missing beans! Good food though.
