Dinner and Dance Dec 2017. Works evening. The room was done up nice. Drinks were really expensive. £4 fosters. £14-£16 wine bottle. Bad layout. Bread roll served with blob of margarine. Over half hour later soup came. Spicy as hell. Main course turkey dinner was nice. Chocolate torte was nice. Entertainment pretty amateurish, very poor. Not worth £40 pp.

Clean, tidy and good facilities. Bacon butty at breakfast meetings not bad but could have a bit more meat in it!

Nice view of Lumley Castle from the conference suites. Wasn't here for when the bar/catering is open so can't comment on them. The ground is well signposted and not far from the A1(M). There is a small onsite car park but I believe you need to pre-book and ticket prices vary for whichever event younger attending. The are also a couple of small council run car parks nearby, but I don't know how much they charge.

I love Durham cricket ground. The place has the best food and drink options. Lots of toilets. The views are always great. The bus shuttle to and from the car park is handy. The place is well organised and the staff are friendly. The only criticism is that they have got rid of the better beer options. There is now just fosters 😐

I went to watch a T20 evening game between England and the West Indies. The staff are efficient and friendly and there is a happy atmosphere. The concession stands provide a good variety of food and drink, including Caribbean food. It's a great place to watch cricket.
