The fish and chips here are great !! Lovely fish and chips are beautiful!! Coming from up north I've tried many chips in Cornwall and it's taken time to find the best chippy .but this is certainly one of them ! Good value for money. Well worth a visit .you can sit inside if you wish or take away .the menu is extensive .the fish bites are lovely !!! Well worth a try. gravy is pretty good to..
Excellent fish and chips from an owner operated shop in a great location. We had cod and chips - the chips were superb and the batter on the delicious cod was tasty and thin. We rate Emile’s as the best fish and chips in south east Cornwall. Great!
Best chips in Looe hands down. Prices are fair and the portions are massive. 2 large chips can easily feed 4-5 people, and the cod and hake is fantastic and meaty. They have a good curry sauce and the mushy peas aren't bad either. There's seating available, and you can call and preorder which you might need to do if any events are on but you won't be sorry.
Great chip shop that is in the upper town and is therefore well separated from the tourists hence serves quality and good value food. The portion size is huge so bring your appetite. The food is really well cooked too, chips are lovely. Great staff.
Perfect fish and chips and excellent value. I haven't been to Cornwall for way too long and I'm overdue for a visit to Emile's; I could not possibly visit anywhere near Looe without eating there!
Food cooked fresh to order bit found that the fish was a little greasy as it's not left to drain before being wrapped. Batter isn't as crispy as would like but I expect that's from the steam after being wrapped straight away. My son vomitted 2 hours after eating his fish but we all had the same so unsure if it was the food or not. Unsure if will try again
Just visiting and tried the fish, chips, pie, chicken, sausages etc for the whole family and I can't find fault with anything. Would highly recommend. If we lived local, it would definately be a regular!
Perfect in every way it's a don't miss out if you like fish and chips ...Please go here you will not be disappointed.so accommodating to twice we got there really late and both times we were aloud to sit and eat... best around with out a doubt.
The batter was crisp and delicious. The portion size was more than generous and the scampi was delicious. Brie and Cranberry is a recommendation as it was very tasty. Pisses all the coddy shack. Bosh
Not overly impressed by this place took 30 minutes to cook food then I found fish was really nice but chips not so good most were dark brown slightly over cook and didn't taste nice also had cold curry sauce as chip shop in looe go this is very low on my list
