The country park is lovely and we've been here for camping quite a few times. But the state of the play parks the main reason we attended today are appalling there is litter and animal poo throughout I understand the latter is out of their control but still, litter everywhere weeds growing through most of the climbing frames and not young weeds either, stinging nettles growing through them exposed screws and broken equipment everywhere it is such a shame to see they don't bother maintaining the play areas even with people like ourselves who pay £5 just to visit the parks to be constantly watching our little one to make sure she is safe and not picking up used coffee cups and bottles from the cafe.
pleasant park. various children play areas. can drive round. plenty of green areas for picnics small cafe on site. £2 entry out of season is reasonable however the peak time entry is more than £4 and could outprice alot of families that would like to visit on a regular basis
Beautiful country park loved walking here with family. It was busy but plenty of space to chill still. Everything you need for a nice day out, you can chill or play family games also great dog walking too. Playground: More than one play area suitable for all ages.
Emberson Country Park is a beautiful place to visit and set up camp and enjoy with the family… It has two stunning, large lakes with plenty of wildlife to see… The walking trails are great to stroll along and spot wildlife and view some nature… There is a cafe and 3 large parks for the kids to enjoy
Beautiful place to walk with dogs, kids or can drive around. Lots of play parks and a dog friendly cafe. Only £2 to get in.
Nice place to go for a walk. Got a lovely cafe to sit and eat as well as toilets. Parking is £2 out of season but £5 in summer which prob a bit much for what it is. Has a childrens play area and dog friendly. We did a walk around the park then stopped off at Onley village about 1 mile away which had free parking. Nice village to visit with some lovely pubs, cafes and bakeries. Definitely worth a stopping off for a walk around the village.
A great park for both kids and adults alike. The park has several play areas for kids, areas for camping and trails to go around walking sprawling across several acres. The park also has a decent cafe and restroom facilities. All day parking costs £4.50 which is fairly reasonable. The park does get busy, but doesn't feel crowded owing to the size. A good park to spend you day at.
Had a lovely day at Emberton Park, driven past lots of times going too and from Milton Keynes. Decided to take the kids all older , 3 in their teens. Still had a great day. On arrival at the gate house paid £4.50 to stay as long as you want, families were their having picnics, putting tents/ gazebos up and making the day of it. You can park either in the car park or on the grass near to picnic tables; which were ample. There's 3 play areas one being a sandpit with mini diggers. The café coffee, cakes, ice cream and savoury snacks is situated at the beginning of the park and there are two public toilets situation within the park. The lakes were idyllic and you can picnic overlooking the lakes, while the kids can play in the play area or maybe a game of rounders or cricket. Walking or cycling into the park is free. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. A family of old and new were their celebrating someone's birthday. Why have I not been sooner, when the kids were smaller! All came home feeling a nice tired.
Spent a good few hours here and is a great place if you have young children 3 different play areas and beautiful scenery
Excellent country park. Several play areas, including a big sand pit with lever operated diggers and a play structure with buckets and pullies. Walk round the lake is achievable for young children and the paths would be doable with a scooter. Grounds Cafe has nice outdoor space. Bird hide a good spot to watch wildlife from. Picnic tables and recycling bins available.
