Went today to renew my ID . Everybody was very nice and very very helpful . Yes we had to wait outside lucky was nicer weather they have no waiting room inside . I was worried to go there today reading recent reviews . I was meant to be seen at 11.45 and they took me in at 12 which was no problem at all . I've had very nice experience today . Thank you
The London embassy staff have guided me through the process of Slovak Citizenship by Descent with unfailing helpfulness and friendliness. They went out of the way to answer all of my many questions concerning the process and were always friendly and accommodating on my visits to the embassy itself. Many thanks to the consul, Mr Sefcik, and his staff for being so welcoming to their new citizen.
I visited the ambassy four times in the last 2 years. My experience was very positive every time. Staff is friendly and helpful. Especially the gentleman at the entrance. I had no problem with booking appointment online either.
Absolutely terrible service. I am unable to book an appointment using their portal for some reason so I keep emailing back and forth with no results. We have already exchanged 14! emails with no reservation in near sight! They are basically copying and pasting well done! the same email again and again without reading emails. To get through to the the Embassy via the phone is also impossible! What an absolute joke and embarrassment. Wonder if Slovakia wants to be truly represented this way abroad! Shameful, there are no other words to describe it!
Typical Slovakia! I was naive to expect something different. Very disappointed what else I can say. The workers are arrogant, poor service with no manners. I travelled from Newcastle and I was waiting 2.5hrs standing outside just to be seen for 5 minutes. It was ridiculous! I'm not even mentioning that they don't have waiting room. Never again!!!
Disgraceful experience I’ve ever been to!! ,, unbelievable how Slovak people thing we live back homeYOU NEED TO REMEMBER YOUR NOT IN SLOVAKIA and you live in UK we do not tolerate racism in UK! The way you still being racist towards Roma people its disgusting. How you don't even have a bit of respect i will take this forwards and report this. Roma Families waiting outside with little kids for hours and still been ignored even older people , Roma with appointments waiting and still wont be taken in!! I had waited for my appointment 3 months and traveled with my 2 year old nearly 3 hours just to get to london and still didn’t get my things sorted out just because my baby was crying the man didn’t even let me calm him down but asked me to sign some papers out and said he has people outside he dosnt have time but when i was outside there were no people with appointments there !Only Slovak white people have the right in Slovak embassy london !!! Disgraceful behaviour be shame of your selfs you live in uk.
Welcome to Slovakia... you will only experience such an approach at the Slovak Embassy... the workers are arrogant... Due to a delay of a few minutes, due to the cancellation of the train connection in Bradford, they let us and our 2-year-old children stand outside in the winter. They forced us inside as the last ones. The gentleman standing at the gate told us to come after 1:00 p.m. that he would take us right away. What didn't happen. After the phone call, the employee called me a liar and told me to go ahead and get a passport in Slovakia... Such an employee has no business sitting in such a position.
It has been a struggle to secure an appointment with the embassy for three weeks now. Despite sending emails and attempting to call, I have been unable to make contact due to a non-functioning website and disconnected phone calls.
Unfortunately once again unable to meet the needs. Only thing I can say it's more than sad employers of ambasady are payed for doing NOTHING and main priority is to not to support Slovak citizens.
Absolutely joke I trying to contact them every day for 3 weeks and no response today finely answer my phone some very angry women answer I trying to get appointments for passport so I ask her if I can talk English because I'm slovak but my first language its Hungary so I don't speak slovakien language I grown-up in England anyway she ben told me if I don't speak slovakian I can't get no appointments I even told her I have ben send emails for appointments and she go okay se u bye and she put the phone down I don't know they are just go to work go inside in they office and do nothing just waiting the end of the day and go home and getting paid for doing nothing Absolutely terrible slovenska ambasada clowns
