Story

We have three screens here at the Embassy.

Screens 1 and 2 are traditional style cinemas with 89 and 118 seating capacities.

Screen 7 is our luxury licensed auditorium with leather armchairs, sofas and tables to put your drinks and nibbles on. This means you don't have to search around on the floor for your bits and pieces.

We also have a bar serving a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits and a kiosk offering a variety of soft drinks and confectionary.

Our polite and friendly staff are always on hand to help with any of your queries.

Telephone booking is available during box office opening hours, see contact details. (Telephone Booking closes 30mins prior to the performance time. There is a booking fee of 70p per ticket for telephone bookings)

Children 3 yrs plus require a cinema ticket. Children 2 yrs and below are only admitted at management discretion.

We have visited 4 times in the past 5 weeks and really enjoyed it on each occasion. The tickets are reasonably priced and there is a good stock and range of confectionery which again is reasonably priced. The staff have been engaging and freindly and enrich the cinema experiance. Look forward to going back on many more occasion.
Screen 7 is much better than the others but there's still a problem with image flickering on all their screens, especially but not only during dark scenes. Not bad for a small town though and the staff are great
This is a great local cinema. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they really look after their customers. Movie Magic cards provide a nice discount too. Screen 7 is very comfortable with sofas and tables. Can't recommend this place enough.
Upstairs cinema - poor sound poky and noisy portable air conditioner? blower but still overwhelming warm however good legroom in rear row. Helpful happy staff.
We love seeing movies at the Embassy, it's family friendly and the tickets are reasonably priced. Perfect for when the weather is too awful for the beach.
Love my local cinema - it's just down the road. The staff are brilliant and really friendly. I try and go most weeks on movie magic night to support this local gem

Went to see Top Gun Maverick, at Ilfracombe Embassy, nothing was too much trouble the Manager had helped initially by moving our tickets to the later showing as my wife couldnt make the earlier showing that i paid for. On getting into the cinema we found the staff were lovely and friendly and gave a lovely warm welcome, they were very helpful and cheerful, the seating was comfy and was clean and tidy...ohh and the film was amazing!!!
Lovely cinema, been coming here since the 90s, friendly staff.. fair prices.. comfy seating if you're in screen 7 thats my only gripe with this cinema is they have a tendency to put the good films showing on the lesser quality screens and seating
My local cinema so good if you have disabled or autistic kids staff always help fill and welcoming and friendly
