Used to be the best place to buy a kebab anywhere for miles.... until recently! Not sure but seems to be new ownership & can never get an order right! Ask for large potatoes they give you small, ask for no onions they give you onions, ring up to place an order you get there they claim not to have your order. Attitude of the staff is like they really couldn't care! Everyone makes mistakes, but not every time! Used to be better than the rest, now worse than most other places! Very dissapointing, bring back the old owners & staff!!
Fantastic food. Very friendly staff. Had the £15 meat sharer today. Beautifully cooked to perfection. We were really spoilt today. Thank you for the lovely food.
This has been a great kebab house for many years, but went in recently and all new staff. I ordered 1 small and 1 large chicken kebab, but when got home they were both small : Very disappointed.
Best kebab shop for miles I just wish they would deliver
My nose was drawn to the beautiful aroma of food being cooked over a charcoal fire and was instantly then craving what I could smell. To my delight it was a lovely little takeaway called Ely kebab House and upon entry was met by friendly staff in the family run business and to the left was the food being cooked Infront of me. The food was delicious as suspected and we will be going again. Trust me this is a lovely takaway you won't be disappointed.
I am a resident of Ely and have lived here for 2 years now. This was the first time that we visited this place. My elderly parents and I we are Asians were treated condescendingly when we visited this place to get some takeaway. From the moment we entered, the staff behind the counter were passing snide remarks in their native language and had a conceited look on their face as though they were superior to us in some way. This kind of discrimination in a quaint town like Ely can only be seen at such places. Needless to say, we will never visit this place again.
Very nice kebabs all cooked on open coals, very reasonably priced and the smell from outside just draws you in! Highly recommend and it’s my go to takeaway in Ely.
Chips Great - Fried chicken revolting and dark red colour - Shish Kebab the same texture as a cube of leather - Pitta Bread snapped up into pieces awful meal for £26.00.
Chicken kebab to eat in, beautifully cooked and presented with delicious fresh Turkish salads, so tasty and healthy. Plus great chips, oops. Really nice surprise, we thought we’d be perched on a wall near the cathedral, spilling stuff down ourselves.....
