Lovely large green space, perfect for dog walking. Lots of different walks of varying degrees, a nice flat route for those of us who are less mobile, steep inclines for the more energetic or a scenic lake walk etc. Large childrens play area. Car park is fine but can get full during summer months.
I love this park, kept really nice. Great area for children. Lovely lake with lots of ducks and the resident swans and their babies. Lots of history and organised history walks. Tennis courts, table tennis tables, goal posts. Everything you would want from a park.
A really lovely park. Lots of nice open spaces for running around and exercising your dog. A big range of fun equipment for children. Miles of winding paths and secluded tree lined footways to explore. Make sure you see the sweet chestnut tree. It's over 500 years old. Ample parking spaces.
A great park for lots of activities. Lovely open spaces and trails for running / bike. Did see a woman 'walking' her dog in the tennis courts. Hope she cleaned up. Why ‍ Very peaceful by the churchyard. Visit recommended
Nice local park, good for walking the dog and feeding the ducks. It seems a lot cleaner the last couple of years. It used to have a nice "secret garden" which was a little meadow inside the ruin of a building but it's all overgrow now which is a shame. The big fields at the top has hedgerows full of blackberrys, damsons, apples and slows.
Great place Lot's of green space, swan's and duck's. A park for the little one's, tennis court for bigger one's. Plenty to see and do, that don't cost a penny if you take a picnic. No toilet's so beware not to drink to much.
Lovely place to come and unwind. There's plenty of space to have a picnic and dog walking. Will be going back as I got there quite late in the day and didn't get to explore as much as I wanted.
Spent a lot of my childhood around here so it was great to go back. Lovely walk among the trees and wildlife around the lake. Memories came flooding back
Beautiful location for a nice walk, lots of wildlife to view and just spend some time in a peaceful location. Playground: Good playground location for the kids Dog-friendliness: Fantastic place to walk your pet.
Amazing park, i have been here a few times and there is always something new and different I discover. It's quite big and there is so much to see. There is also a nature reserve on the driving path towards the car park. It's not easily visible as I discovered it whilst walking to the car park.
