Been coming to the Market since I moved 8 years ago. It has some nice variety of stalls, from houseware, decos, to fruit and vegetables or meat. You can also easily grab a bite or some dessert. Recently the market has been updated with more tables, a kids playing area and some much needed loos, disabled WC and baby changing facilities. There are more projects coming so, let's hope it continues to improve.
Exceptional indoor market with non-commercialized mom & pops feel. Lots of unique items and an absolute must during the Christmas season. The vendor in one of the corners has some really nice Christmas decor. Wish I could have bought more from them while I was there. Food court has some really good food for very low prices. I ate a few mushroom and onion cheeseburgers at Tommy's and they were some of the best burgers I have had. It is a shame that I didn't have more time to try some of the other vendors foods. They all had tasty looking food.
This place needs a total refurbishment a d some decent stall in there. It's like the end of a ghost town once you have walked through the Port Acades.
Unfortunately the council are letting the whole of this area go . Looks awful,shops closing, no investment, money gone into building new council building. Wouldn't recommend anyone to visit this town. Should be renamed 'Down and Out Port'
Had something to eat in the dinning area my partners meal was pie dinner the pie was burnt at the bottom and meat was dried up. They offered to give him another pie but he declined. I had jacket potato with salad when I got home I had upset stomach.
The market is half empty and due to be renovated. We can only hope it will improve afterwards.
Not very big but everything you want and great stall holders
The market has slowly deteriorated over time. The carpark charges which doesn't help. Seems like the local council works with asda to destroy the market.
Nice people, but the place needs attention, some renovations and investment.
We love this market. Great large ladies cardigans etc and just had to visit our usual card shop which is very reasonable price and great selection. We always have a little chat when we come down from Scotland and take our parents in.
