The Ellen Badger is a small community NHS hospital located within the town of Shipston on Stour in Warwickshire, England. It is operated by South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. Its facilities include an 18 bedded ward with on site physiotherapy, occupational therapy, x-ray, out-patient clinics and a first aid unit (8:30am until 6:30pm, 5 days a week). There is a day unit attached to the hospital together with community nursing services.At weekends and Bank Holidays the GP Out of Hours service is based there. An appointment can be made by dialling 111.

My grandmother was admitted to the Ellen Badger hospital resently to recover from a pelvic break at the age of 90.. she was placed there to undertake physio, recuperate and be professionally helped to aid her recovery. My grandmother was there 3 days and during that time received limited rehabilitation before being returned to Warwick hospital due to a decline in her condition. She was not given any physio, she was left to wet herself even though she had been ringing the bell for assistance. The hospital room was miserable and provided little stimulation. She was struggling to raise her cup to her mouth due to dehydration and became confused and incredibly tired. My grandmother has declined in health due to lack of suitable care at this establishment and I shall be raising my observations and concerns through the relevant channels.

Not really the sort of place you like to review as you don't want to be there too often. After the way they treated a family member who was effectively seeing out the last fortnight of her life in the Ellen Badger, and the way the whole family were treated I felt impelled to write this review about how friendly everyone was, how well everything was handled, and how nice the room and location was. Thank you
