Great to have a pint of Wicker Man ale in the bar which served as the interior of The Green Man in the classic movie. Even got to meet someone who appeared as an extra! Some great nods to the movie, photos, paintings etc.
Place is very run down unclean. No gents toilets due t condition they have to use disabled. Owner not very welcoming when he is there. Could be a lovely family .
Old elegant building with decent rooms good beer and bar food. Great value and very friendly helpful staff.
This is a lovely village pub with a famous past as it featured in the film The Wicker Man , the food is great and the staff are very friendly with a good selection of food on the menu and a good range of wines and spirits the atmosphere has an olde worlde charm , the layout hasn't changed much since The Wicker Man which is nice.
Traditional hotel with great breakfast. Up for sale at a reasonable price. Featured in Dorothy L Sayers 'Five red herrings' Lord Peter Whimsey novel.
