Lovely to see such a high class professional salon on the broadway. Always friendly with lovely coffees and ambience too. And most importantly they always do a fabulous job on my hair!

I have wanted to try this salon for ages as it is always busy and looks cosy and friendly. I had a consultation with the lovely smiling evervessent Fran who totally got want I wanted and advised me what I could actually have.... Showing a Gigi Hydid picture and I am 54...... Gemma washed my hair and massaged my head and that was lovely. Fran cut my hair very short and it is a really fantastic cut and she razor cut it ... An art.... I am very pleased I have had my hair cut here.... Very friendly ..... And the ladies are really affable.... I shall return 26/4 all booked up. Fran and Gemma made me feel very comfortable and I really am not one for the hairdressing experience .... I want in and out job done and then get home.... Great job all round....

Failed appointments twice in a row! I am extremely disappointed in the lack of service in this "establishment". Upon entering the salon today I received no acknowledgement at all... a member of staff did see me but decided to ignore me and carry on with what she was doing, After 5 minutes had passed she acknowledged me and stated she would get "my therapist" to help me. I was informed that the salon were fully booked and I didn't actually have an appointment.... after I left she told me that my appointment was for next week Thursday which surprised me as specifically asked for an appointment for this evening or tomorrow. I'm now wondering if the series of cancellations were due to the fact that I have a different appearance to the rest of the clientele. Ridiculously unprofessional and unsavoury behaviour, avoid at all costs!

I can highly recommend Ella Connor Hair as I have been going to them for a number of years and have always been completely happy with everything they have done for me! My hairdresser, Lorraine is a very experienced stylist and an exceptional colourist and always gives good advice on colours to suit me and how they will take on my hair, as I always like a change! All the staff are very friendly and the salon has a relaxed feel. A fantastic salon in the heart of Leigh but without the hefty prices of some of the Leigh Salons!!
