Ordered one small chicken kebab and one small shish kebab. Wasn't expecting a huge kebab but was disgusted with what was delivered. My kebab was essentially a pitta with 5 single pieces of chicken in it. I paid 4.90 for 5 pieces of chicken. So disappointed. My partner equally had 5 cubes of lamb on his kebab. I've never felt so robbed in all my life, they need a mask and a striped jumper! When I rang them to complain I was told that was standard of small chicken kebabs, so don't order one expecting to be even slightly full because it was barely even a starter. Wasn't even offered an apology and was told it was expensive chicken! I'm sorry but how can one small piece of chicken breast work out at a pound each? Is it a famous chicken that I'm unaware of? I could go to the butchers and get 4 full chicken breasts for a fiver. Will never order there again, absolute joke.
My rare treat of a mixed kebab will always be Elif. It's clean, fresh and friendly. Always cooked to.perfection. My only grumble is nothing at all to do with the food, or service, it's due to the use of polystyrene packaging. Please Elif, lead the way, cardboard is the way forward and will help save our planet for future generations to enjoy your cracking kebabs.
Absolutely disgusting. Won't go back again ordered a small diner for my son which was ok at best. Ordered a small lamb kebab for me, all I can say is that 5 small pieces of lamb in a wrap over a bed of soggy 'salad' is a bit cheap. Especially when I ordered it with chilli and garlic sauce on it. But looked like the server had literally sharted an untrusted hangover fart over the top. First time and last time I'll be going there. Man behind the counter was also about as approachable as a wasps nest. I'll stick to London road next time.
Delivery Service good, that's why I have given 2 stars.However, threw more food away than ate. Pizza was cold and greasy. Mixed kebab lamb and chicken dry. Won't order from here again I'm afraid.
Takeaway order - was told it would take an hour. After an hour and a half rang to find out where it was, was told it wouldn't even be cooked for another 10 minutes! And delivery was busy so looking at close to 2 hours...unbelievable - why lie to customers. If they refused the order we'd understand, now we'll never be back.
Been going here for years. It’s like a dirty kebab without the guilt. Chicken isn’t dry with chilli and garlic sauce and everything else is as to be expected. It’s deffinately a cut above the usual kebab house dog meat. There are no Michelin stars but there is a reason it’s been open for so many years..!
They rip you off every time! The food is fine... but they never send your full order. They say they'll take the money off your next order and then suspend your account before you can place another order... Only order from here if you want to pay for food you don't get. We asked for a refund they said no... Find somewhere else to order from. Does this business just take advantage? Closed for exactly just 3 weeks!

Been eating here for the last two years the quality of the food is exceptional!! all these people moaning about 5 piece of chicken or lamb u stick to ur cheap take away donner meats u don't know what proper chicken/lamb is this place is value for money I've eaten all over sheffield not had quality food cooked to perfection like it is at ELF.. it is value for money thank u ELF for serving the BEST kebabs in Sheff !!!!
First Class - Brilliant salad and delicious large flatbread - very filling. Our favourite, the Chicken and Shish kebab combo, has meats chargrilled to 3 layers, and is best with their chilli and garlic dressings.Take-away, yeah, but don't take it too far away and let it get cold and dry - when ordered and eaten on time, it's a great alternative to our usual Chinese or Indian takeaway.
