Elford House is a treasure. We booked two nights and ended up staying a third The proprietors Jed and Linda are friendly and welcoming. The internal features are beautiful, the room was light clean and airy and we had an amazing view of Whitby Abbey. The picnic basket breakfast was a treat warm bread rolls, boiled eggs, cereals, juice, fresh fruit and yogurts and much more. We'll definitely be back for another visit.

What a lovely gem to find. Room was spacious with en suite shower and toilet. Beautifully decorated and we were impressed at the cleanliness. We both enjoyed our morning breakfast hamper which is left outside the door each morning... we knew when it was there because the smell of the fresh baked baguette wafts into your room. Friendly helpful staff.. keep up the good work.... we'll be back!

Very spacious, clean and easy access to shops. Owners very friendly would definitely stay again and recommend. Great breakfast and just left to enjoy your stay. Michele and Andy

Super b and b. Warm cosy and comfortable with friendly helpful hosts. Close to town and amenities. We stayed in the smaller room at the top of the house which was cosy and snuggly for us. Very clean beautiful period house would recommend. Parking makes everything so easy. No need to drive throughout our stay. Lovely weekend spent here and breakfast delivered to room means a very lazy chill out stay which is just what we needed.
