Best Chinese in Southport taste wise however... you can't get through to order and if you do.. you are so often let down by horrendous late delivery. Even after 2 hr 45 waiting argued about any discount or good will gesture. They even argued when i wanted to cancel after such a ridiculous wait...All I can say is... if you hit them right you will get a great meal... if busy you might be very disappointed and there is no will to make amends or keep your custom. Get a grip Orient 57 I would like to be a customer but you are making it very difficult.
Disgusting. Korean Fried chicken was ABYSMAL. Disgusting and was completely raw. Rice was dry with chunks of stringy egg banana fritters were Black all the way through. Will not be ordering from here again.
Banana fritters black all the way through and chicken nuggets like rubbish in the middle an a bit pink and chips tasted like oven chips, that was my First time in the chippy and I won’t be going back
A nasty experience!! The Thai from this place is quite possibly one of the worst takeaways I’ve had in Southport! No exaggeration there either. After an hour of waiting for my order of three dishes, all of them were just plain gross. Oily, tasteless. Cheap meat…. Dare I even begin to explain the thai salad? Basically extra chunky chopped up romain lettuce and cheap salad tomatoes with sweet chilli sauce poured over it?! I spent months in Thailand and I never saw a salad like this one once. I called direct before writing a review to give the chef the benefit of the doubt to possibly rectify the situation or even apologise for how bad this food was, but his response was “well that’s just how it is”. That’s it! So as promised, here is my review.
Amazing food. First time I have ordered from here via Deliveroo and will definitely order again. Thai green curry, coconut rice, tofu satay skewers and salt and pepper chips. All fantastic! Thankyou :
Over an hour late, on a Tuesday. Wouldn’t come to an agreement. Made to go through just eat for a refund. Won’t get a full refund due to charges and even a 10p bag charge. Honestly just don’t order from them! There is a reason why they have so many 1 star reviews and such a low average score. I’m usually that guy who ignores the 1 star reviews. But please don’t
This chef just gets better and better. The Crispy fried Korea Chicken was superb. The honey chilli ribs melted off the bone. The best fried rice, and Sweet and Sour King Prawns to die for. This is our favourite take away for the last ten years.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered at 18:10 delivery time of 19:20 given then changed to 19:45. Called at 19:50 to say was 2nd out of the kitchen still not arrived at 20:20 so called again to be told still waiting for driver and would be another 20 minutes. When questioned the delay I was just told the shop is busy. If they can't deal with the orders they shouldn't take them. You don't expect to be waiting over 2 and a half hours for food with no updates. The service is horrendous. Wish I had taken notice of the other reviews. I would not recommend if you actually want to receive the food at a decent time
Avoid Special Chow Mein. Disgusting terrible mush for almost £8. What very little meat there was in it was obviously of very poor quality. It had a slimy texture & was grisly. Unfortunately there wasn't a single vegetable in sight, basically it was overcooked noodles in an insipid sauce.
Awful food! Starters were over cooked and dry. Main course of seafood chop suey had a watery runny sauce and tasteless. Waste of £35! First time ordering from here and never going back again!
