Lovely little cafe. We had the all day breakfast, which was tasty, filling and good value. The rest of the menu looks good for a light lunch. Service was quick and friendly.
Hi I usually love going to electric bakery for a quick bite but today I sadly had a bad experience with one employee she is short and chubby with short coloured hair and she treated me like I was inconveniencing her for buying some food and didn't offer me a bag for my food before I paid so I had to try and find 5 pence to pay for my bag. I was not rude at all so I don't think I deserved that attitude, I've been in customer service for years and I understand we have bad days but you should always be nice to customers as we are buying your food.
Lovely pasties and cakes. I especially recommend trying the empire biscuits.
This bakery has an almost constant stream of locals buying bread and cakes - and we can see why having sampled traditional Scotch Pies and cakes in the cafe. Service could be a bit slow- but only because they were so busy serving customers in the shop - which is a good sign.

Only place I've found for years that sell Empire biscuits.
Went into the shop for a cup of tea and a snack while there i went to the toilet. There were empty toilet rolls left in the bathroom .The toiled seat was very loose Whoever had been in before had left what they had done and not flushed .And the sink was dirty with what I could only say was a scum round the tap near the sink .bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned for days .Not impressed and woukdnt go back
Nice sausage rolls, not so impressed with the scotch pie I had. The cakes looked lovely but I didn't try one. A very busy local business, obviously popular with the locals
Great rolls, they do a fantastic flies cemetery Recommend the take away afternoon tea, best delivered
