Amazing prawns, the tastiest tapas I've had in a long time - actually it were better than some of the tapas I've had in Spain. The chef lady were very friendly too and didn't seem to mind us taking our time in finishing our wine. A very cute little restaurant with exceedingly good food. A real Ventnor gem.

Really nice food, very unexpected, in a nice way. The price was reasonable and the menu is well chosen. The food was great and I am from Spain, and the service was really kind. Recommended.

Gorgeous fish paella.     Loads of fish and perfect.     Followed by home made ice cream, which was the best ice cream either of us had ever had in our lives - superb meal.   Many thanks.

Sadly this wonderful authentic tapas bar has now closed. The owners returning to Spain. Great loss to Ventnor.

My wife and I were on holiday at the start of June, and we went 3 times in 5 days, great atmosphere, staff and meal.try it.

An unexpected Gem. Need to book on high days and holidays. Authentic Spanish Tapas. Cowes born lady met Spanish chef, married and after running restaurant in Spain, returned to Ventnor. Excellent food and wine in informal setting.

Fairly small, cosy restaurant with lovely Spanish Tapas.

I visit Ventnor around twice a year and every day enter for  a drink and coffee  and dinner at some point. El-Toro is  the best things about Ventnor.
