Dine in on a Friday night with family. Great tapas food, nice sangrias. Lovely ambience. Will definitely come back for paella. Thanks for the manager Ted who was very attentive and provided us with excellent service, and friendly too. Will definitely come back!Food: 5/5
literally had the BEST time here! mama and darrah were the sweetest and so attentive. they gave such great recommendations and made our dining experience so much fun and enjoyable. the food was AMAZING! highly recommend going for their tapas buffet because you will eat your worth and then some. a must try is their spicy tomato meatballs and garlic mushrooms!! 100% would come back again.
Nice tapas bar in the Duxton area Came in on a weekday it was pretty quiet and without need for a booking Tried a few of the signatures and their sangria . Would say the ham toasted bread is not bad Wanted to try the cherros at the end but was too full If you come in a bigger group it’s nice to get the paella too, tho it takes 40 min to make and is at least a 2pax portion
We ordered paella with squid ink and I’m not sure why it had a lot of pepper. All I could taste was black pepper. Disappointed. Croquettes and Crab cake was alright. They charged $3 per bottle for water which is understandable but when they gave us a refill, they should have asked before replacing it. I didn’t know we were charge for it and we were already planning to leave and a new bottled water came. Spent $94 in total and would have gone somewhere else instead. Was not satisfied with the meal and we went somewhere else after for supper and drinks.
We had a very pleasant evening in the restaurant with the quality of food and the attentive services. The Marisco Provencal and the El Pulpo were particularly impressive. Will definitely come back.Food: 5/5
Quaint tapas bar in Duxton area Food was authentic Spanish and excellent The two of us had grilled octopus, champinones and gambas with two helpings of the crunchy polka bread. Octopus had just the right degree of char while the mushrooms were accompanied by sauce with just the right balance of acidity and umami. Ditto for the prawn dish. With a glass of wine each, the portions were just right for us but another dish might be needed for big eaters! I’m not a fan of paella so I avoided ordering it. Waitress Nisha was helpful, friendly and warm and avoided pushing us to order more than we could handle Parking: Street side parking a matter of luck. Also URA parking just opposite Sabio
Jenny was the highlight of our visit to Sabio. She recommended really delicious dishes and was so thoughtful for us not to over order! Really love it!Food: 5/5
Sat by the bar which wasn't the most comfortable place so would recommend to book in advance. Tortilla and paella could be a miss while the rest of the good was not bad. Chorizo platter was definitely worth it but bread was a little stale. Staff was friendly even though busy, gave continuous attention to the customer Worth going back again
big love to jenny and her team!! great hospitality and wonderful food! really appreciate how helpful and friendly they were : will be back soon! jamon iberico and the gambas al piupiu were delicious~Food: 5/5
Was here few weeks ago for lunch, 5 pax. Some food items was a hit/ miss. the beef was quite tough, not a steak cut looks like a chuck or rump. bone marrow was good. sagria is decent. the restaurant is quite understaffed for lunch though.
