So I was really excited about this place. It was everywhere on social media, so I decided to go with a couple of friends and try their food. The first impression the service is very slow like they seat you, but it takes maybe 15-20 minutes before you can order. Then we had a couple of items that arrived wrong, and the waitress looked at us and was like, “ no, you ordered that it is your mistake”, and it wasn’t, as I have quite a few dietary restrictions I am usually pretty sure on what I order. But sure wrong items can arrive my problem was the behaviour of the waitress I think it didn't feel welcoming. And for the food, I had way better Mexican food, I think. Overall I couldn't understand why the place was so hyped, which was quite sad. But yes, the decoration inside the atmosphere was great. You do feel like you might be in Mexico.
Best Mexican / Tex-Mex food in Dublin, without a doubt. I assumed this would be a small burrito bar style place, but it's a decent sized restaurant. Really affordable prices. I had a Chimichanga & it filled me for less than €10. It was busy when I went, I'm glad they were able to give me a table. Would highly recommend.
Some of the best Mexican I've ever had and I'm used to Californian Mexican food. The food is just great, tasty, filling, well priced. The atmosphere is lovely and quaint and I found the service very friendly and helpful too. I went back twice in one week. Definitely recommend!
Incredibly good food in beautifully colourful authentic surroundings. The food is delicious, they have orange sauce, it felt so genuine but also very keenly priced and absolutely delicious. I had tacos and a burrito and it was so nice and tasty. The Mexican coffee with cinnamon was lovely. Definitely now on the 'favourite' list, a real destination for me now. Haven't felt so inspired about a Mexican in Dublin since Poco Loco on parliament st. Lovely service, friendly quick and attentive.
Food was good, quantity was very less for the price. Nachos are worth trying, had tacos and it was indeed delicious. Out of everything the music and the whole interior of the restaurant was simply awesome. Friendly staffs and they make the place more vibrant. Worth dining in!
One of the best Mexican restaurant in Dublin! I first came here thanks to some friends who suggested me the place. I was amused by the atmosphere, the music and the waiters. Everything is cured and the staff is kind and efficient. The food is delicious, just like the spicy sauces. I came here different times, but I noticed that when it's too crowded like the weekend, the quality is lower. Probably it's complicated manage that numbers. But still, it remains one of my favorite places.
Good atmosphere, a restaurant with a very interesting aesthetic, in general the food was very good, except for one of the dishes, but the churritos botaneros left a lot to be desired, it was a fried snack with no flavour and a spicy sauce for a very high price for what it offered. But if we talk about the tacos, I can say that I'm going to repeat without a doubt, very tasty and tender.
We went there at around 6pm and could easily get the table. The food was really nice we didn't had soo authentic Mexican anywhere else. We took chicken and veggies tacos with cheese and toastados. And drinks were with tequila. I really recommend this place.
Best Mexican food I’ve tried in Ireland. Can’t go wrong with anything here. My favourites are tortas with dark soft bread. Great margaritas that’s not on the menu so definitely ask. Would be great if they also had strawberry margaritas. They also serve spicy beer - micheladas - only recommendation here to remove stock cube from it or make alternative without. Original recipe doesn’t include stock cube and it kills the taste. First time requested without and I was given, second time was told it comes like this prepared and won’t be making me without :
OK at best. Disappointing after the good reviews read. Quirky looking spot. Mango margarita was nice. Got a burrito mixed veg - this was fried onion, then beans, rice and cream. No peppers, mushroom etc. Didn't match description from menu at all. Bland at best. Friends weren't enamoured either, based on food and service I couldn't recommend. Also we asked 4 times for water and also a beer, they never arrived. We gave up finished the food without them. Staff seemed friendly but weren't able to manage to take/deliver the orders. I can only think we got them on a bad night as it was busy, though there was a rota happening for staff dinner as we were there as the server kept changing as they were going off to eat. They also must have been without usual cooks in kitchen so food wasn't up to normal standards??!.
