One of my favourite restaurants to go to. Food has always been amazing the 20+ times I’ve been and the staff are always a pleasure. Highly recommend! Top 3 dishes have to be the Battered Prawns, the Pork in blue cheese & the ham&cheese croquettes. Delicious!
I rate places against el torero's on side street wherever I go, that's our favorite place & we go regular, this is right up there absolutely top notch, couldn't fault it even if I tried,well worth a visit & if I was halfway between them I wouldn't know which way to turn, rustic charm and excellent quality with a truly wonderful rioja
Best tapas in Newcastle! Our second visit and will definitely return for a 3rd. We travel to Newcastle once per year from Lincoln and this is a must visit now for us. Excellent food, great service and reasonable prices. Already looking forward to our next visit!
Lots of variety, highest quality food, superb friendly service and realistic prices. The ambience is fantastic and the décor really interesting and original. Most impressive of all is the authenticity of the food and the Spanish beers!!. You could be in Spain.

I've been here several times and I've always liked it. It has a strong Spanish atmosphere, with flamenco music playing, wooden tables and chairs, everything is combined to create a really special restaurant. The food is very good, I recommend going here.
