Gear change on my new bike wasn't quite right. Gave Ekbike repairs a call and Sandy sorted it that day. Great service, great price and gears now working perfectly. Would highly recommend. He's a good guy too and certainly knows his stuff

I had a problem with my fork compression plug. All my own fault, trying to adjust a new bike with an integrated front-end. I'm ok with 'traditional' set-ups but this is a pretty modern bike.  I made a mess of it. I called Sandy and he tried to coach me over the phone - this was a great initial impression of Sandy. He was solely interested in me getting it sorted asap, at no cost.  It turned out I needed a proper mechanic to sort it. Sandy took the bike in the same day, at really short notice. And he fixed it on the spot. Not only is Sandy a great mechanic - he is also really approachable and easy to talk to - not something all bike repair outfits can easily claim to be.  I would highly recommend EK Bike Repairs. Sandy and his wife are genuine bike people, very friendly and great at what they do. Not to mention the price was ridiculously reasonable. Once again, great service from Sandy. Really happy with the whole process - fast, good value and great to deal with. Bike is running really smoothly. Brilliant experience. Knows his stuff and willing to impart knowledge. Extremely reasonable prices. Service, new chain cassette and front derailleur all for close to cost prices. Also goes the extra mile, noticed when putting bike away he'd even fitted a handlebar end cap for free. Lost it 3 years ago. If you want a quality bike fix, speak to Sandy.

I would recommend to all cyclists to use this service. I have an electric mountain bike which had gear issues and after hours of searching online I came across Ekbike repairs - it suited my needs as I couldn't ride my bike safely to a bike shop, have no car to put my bike in and of course, it's not possible to get a bike on buses and so it was extremely handy when I found out about their Home service, which is amazing as they come to you to fix your bike and if it cannot be fixed at home or wherever you may be, they take to their own workshop and back again without a fuss. Sandy arrived on the agreed time and date, great communication throughout and resolved the issue I had pretty quickly and all for a reasonable price too. I will be using again if my bike needs repair in the future as was 1st class service from start to finish. It's like AA but for cyclists. Thanks again Sandy for your help and getting my bike back on the road again :D

Sandy is very knowledgeable about bikes. He also has a good way of explaining what he intends to do an he also listened to what I wanted and what I used the bike for. The job was done very well and very quickly. I am very happy with the work and the cost.
