Went with friends on a Thursday night, terrace sitting was nice. Ordered some starters which was quick and tasty, tried their kebabs special was nice too. One thing is we had to wait for a while to get served.Food: 4/5
We had the best time! Our food was delicious and our service by Olive was outstanding! We also got a little treat for our anniversary which we are so grateful for! I think this will be our new anniversary tradition!Food: 5/5
29th May 24. ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Hubster Neil and I to Ego’s in Stockton Heath. Starters: we both had calamari, it was lovely and tender, coated with a light tempura batter….. Entrée…… King prawns, red chilli and garlic Al dente linguine in rich, creamy tomato sauce, topped with rocket and plenty of Parmesan and milled black pepper. DEFINITELY not skinny on the King prawns, there was LOADS! Side of Stone baked garlic pizza with half mozzarella and garlic, spicy tomato on the other to mop up!! The base was thin and with a perfect crisp bite! plus a Greek salad to share…. It was all very tasty, piping hot and good portion sizes, our compliments to the chefs…. The restaurant is always pristine and plenty of people in there having lunch too, which speaks for itself! A very popular restaurant indeed, the food and service says it all. Our server today was a lady called ‘Olive’, she was very professional, attentive and her manners were impeccable, a total credit to Ego’s….. thank you Olive. Will we go back? Most definitely!
Food was fantastic as always. Never had a bad meal, but sometimes the same dish can vary from visit to visit. Atmosphere was good apart from a ridiculously loud table behind us. Not the restaurants doing but worth mentioning. Service was a little disjointed, struggled to hear the server at times and I do not have hearing issues. Salt shaker was grimy.
Booked a table for 6, informing them on the booking it was for a birthday. Upon arriving, we waited at the booth for 5 minutes to be seated, and the restaurant was very quiet. No one mentioned the birthday celebration we had booked which was disappointing. The waiter sat us at the table leaving us with the menus without taking a drinks order. 20 minutes late, I asked if we could have some drinks, and the waitress obliged. We then waited another 10 minutes to place our order. The meal came out promptly hot and delicious again we had to ask for more drinks. Overall, the food was delicious, and we couldn't fault it, but more staff was required. We may give it another try in the future and see if it was a one-off.
Always great food / service and very reasonably priced especially mid weekFood: 5/5
Absolutely lovely evening meal, cool chilled place... great food great service above all kind friendly smiley staff Food: 5/5
Very pushy service ie rushing us, food mediocre, greasy linguine, no flavour garlic bread, sour garlic mushrooms. Lovely surroundings that's best about it. Wont go again, Lymm one a bit betterFood: 1/5
We went out for a meal to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. All the waiting staff wished my son a happy birthday and Jane in particular looked after us really well and made it a special night. The food was lovely. Everyone enjoyed the evening. Vegetarian options: Courgette fritters delicious. Also lots of lovely sounding veggie options for starters.
We did like the venue and the food was good and a good selection. We would probably book the terrace next time. The only thing we didn't love , was the noise levels where high. Mind you, there where a lot of children in at the time which accounted for it.Food: 4/5
