Fantastic experience at Ego as always - the atmosphere is gorgeous, very warm and cosy with a classy feel. Would recommend for any occasion!nnPlenty of comfortable inside and outside seating. Service is always great, friendly and no delays to food or drinks. Excellent choice from the menu from appetisers and starters right through to after dinner coffee.nnFood is absolutely delicious!
Cracking Wednesday evening deal atm. £30 for 2 with 2 lovely course choices & £10 for a bottle of house wine! Big portions & great food...absolutely stuffed! X
Staff are interactive, the food was very good and the drink options were fine. Great dining out place
Consistently good quality food, service and atmosphere. It was surprisingly busy when we visited on a Tuesday lunchtime. We had pizza's and loved them, thin crispy bases done in a pizza oven. My partner had goats cheese and red oinion chutney which was delicious and I chose to make up my own pizza which was; mushrooms, artichoke and black olives, which was also delicious. They have a special lunchtime menu for those who don't want to eat a full meal.
Overall impression was a good experience even though the time awaiting the first course was rather extended. Bearing in mind it was quite busy I suppose it was to be expected. The food was well cooked and served hot which is important to us. This was our first visit to EGO I am sure we will be back.
