Went to buy some timber today for workbench legs... not paying much attention to the price wrongly assuming it wouldn't be that expensive I just paid with my card and went to collect the wood. Turned out the wood they had in stock was soaking wet even though it was PAR clean, white pine and I couldn't use it so had to go back in for a refund it was only when I walked back in that I saw they had charged me £19 and this was after a "make believe" 15% discount. Got my refund left.  Went to a local builders merchant up in Glengormley got the same lengths but a 1/3 thicker plus a few sheets of inch thick ply for £12 so £7 cheaper plus the builders merchant cuts them to size for you where as at Eglantine the last time I asked someone to cut one bit of plywood in half they had a temper tantrum.  Daylight robbery, @rse about face system of paying first then getting the wood where every other timber / builders yard is select your stuff first then pay. Hasn't been the first time I have stood waiting to pay for easy ten minutes or more to find the few lengths of stuff they have left is broken or not even in stock to have to go back and wait again just to get my money back.  If you like getting robbed and your time wasted you will love this place!

Robert can you tell me where the builders merchants is I would like a few sheets of 1inch ply for £12 as a sheet of 1 inch is normally about £20
