About:
About The Cadogan Story The Cadogan is one of London’s prestigious Knightsbridge hotels. It is on the doorstep of some of the world’s most famed fashion boutiques including Fendi, Gucci and Prada. The Cadogan is also a short walk from Harvey Nichols and Harrods. The hotel was once the home of Lillie Langtry, the famous actress and close friend of King Edward VII. After she sold the house, Lillie still used to stay in her old bedroom 109 by then part of the hotel. However, The Cadogan is best known for its association with Oscar Wilde who was a frequent visitor and stayed in room 118. Great Taste at The Cadogan is the hotel’s showcase restaurant. The menu uses award-winning ingredients from Great Taste Awards, and has been curated by Fay Maschler, The Evening Standard’s renowned restaurant critic, her sister, the chef Beth Coventry, alongside Head Chef Oliver Lesnik. Celebrating its 125th Anniversary in 2012, The Cadogan is one of London’s oldest hotels. Its Afternoon Tea, served in the luxurious drawing room, is priced at £22.50 per person. For special occasions Afternoon Tea can be enjoyed with a glass of Perrier-Jouët, Oscar Wilde’s favourite tipple.
