Located at the heart of Darlington, this hotel has played host to important guests, visitors, and also hosted many notable celebrations and events over the years. After suffering a devastating fire, the hotel was carefully restored to it's former glory and re-opened in 2012 with 83 bedrooms, 3 designated meeting rooms, and the fantastically restored King's Ballroom. The hotel also has a leading restaurant, Carriages, which has the best views of any restaurant in town, and our cocktail bar, which is a real hidden gem. This stunning hotel attracts people from all over the North East, and we are extremely proud to be Darlington's premier hotel, and wedding and event venue.
