About We are a small family run tearoom, serving hot drinks, baguettes, soups and a good selection of fresh scones and cakes. Come and try or breakfast specials from 10.30-12. Story We are a small family run tearooms, operating from the last existing Lock Keeper's cottage in Leicester. Inside the cottage is small and has limited seating (approx 17). However we have a large garden area, seating around 70, which includes an all weather shelter. Dogs are very welcome in the garden and a free dog biscuit and fresh water awaits. We bake fresh baguettes daily which come with a wide range of fillings. Homemade soups are a speciality. If you fancy a treat then there is a wide choice of mouthwatering cakes, fresh baked scones or delicious flavours of Marshfields ice cream. For early risers, we are offering breakfast specials from 10.30-12.00 Senior Citizen Discount-Thursdays 10%
