Story Fred Cooke opened his first pie & eel shop in Clerkenwell in 1862, and before long ran a popular chain with branches across East London. In 1900, Fred opened this shop in Broadway Market, and his grandson Bob, the guv’nor, was born upstairs. Pies, eels served throughout the week from 9-5pm. On Thu-Sat evenings from 7pm-late, we become ‘F. Cooke’s Cocktail Club’. Come and enjoy a fancy mixed drink, or our local craft beers, English wines and homemade shrubs, bitters and tinctures. Our cocktail menu is inspired by our East End heritage and Mrs Cooke’s tropical holidays. If you love pina colada’s.. You may enter feeling optimistic and possibly leave ruined. ------- F.
