About JM Bookkeeping & Business Services, specialising in assisting sole traders and SME's with Bookkeeping and business needs in and around the South Hams. Story Institute of Certified Bookkeepers qualified, and City & Guilds in Sage 50 accounts. For the previous 11 years I was the Accounts Director for a very successful Limited company in London. Since relocating from South East England to Devon, I have researched and spoken to many local and diverse business owners, and realised that there is a requirement for bookkeeping assistance to support the local business community. Having accurate accounts records is an essential aid to your businesses success and growth. I have already helped a number of South Devon based businesses regain control of their financial paperwork and they can now concentrate on what they do best - Running their business! Through my management account experience I will be able to advise you where you are making the most of your income from and show the growth sectors of your business. I will prepare your 'books', either by producing a simple spreadsheet or on accounts software, so they are ready to hand-over to your Accountant at year end, thus saving you additional costly accountancy fees.
