This opportunity to expand the portfolio came after fellow furniture firm Alan Ward went into liquidation. Cousins purchased site, alongside the firm’s flagship store in Shrewsbury.The Newcastle store opened in August and has since been rebranded and refurbished. There is a large selection of stock from world-renowned brands such as Parker Knoll, GPlan and Ercol.
