About Facebook page for the best pub/restaurant in Thanet Story At The Churchill Tavern we offer some of the best food in Ramsgate, our head chef Sarah Barrett trained at The Savoy and has many years under her belt as excellent head chef. Also at The Churchill Tavern we specialise in real ales, we have up to 6 real ales at any one time, using local breweries such as Gadds and Whitstable, and we also stock beers from award winning breweries such as Dark Star, Weltons and Hopdaemon.
