About Homemade with love .... creating happiness! Delicious and unique cakes for any occasion! Make your day special with the cake you dream of.. Story I believe there is nothing better than a freshly homemade cake to offer as a gift, to create happiness! My aim is to create bespoke cakes from scratch, with the best ingredients, filled with love. With all my passion and care for details, I will make sure I will offer you a cake to remember! My name is Anca Lacatus and home baking is my hobby. From a young age I was always around my mum in the kitchen to learn the secrets of baking. Started as a hobby, baking for friends and family members I was encouraged to set up my own business. So in January 2017 I have registered with the Enviromental Health and also obtained a Level 2 Food Safety certificate. Started as a hobby and self taught, I have challenged myself on all kind of cakes. But keen to learn more and more in the cake decorating field I have followed courses which really helped me to see this hobby from a professional point of view, to understand and to learn all the techniques from experienced tutors! I have followed courses at Slattery School of Execelence in Bury obtaining the PME Masters Diploma. I have also followed a Painting on Cake course at Renshaw Academy and looking forward for more! Based in Mytholmroyd, West Yorkshire, I produce bespoke, hand crafted cakes and bakes decorated to your requirements.
