We tell the story of coal mining; one of the world's most dangerous jobs, and life in the Victorian Era. Closed December and January; except for groups, room hire and Special Events. Please contact us to find out more. Closed Mondays except Bank Holidays. Bank Holiday Opening Hours are: 14:00-17:00 ANNUAL TICKET: Pay once and come back for FREE all year. Adults: £6 Concessions £5 Family (2 adults and up to 3 children) £13 Under 5s FREE. Annual tickets can also be bought in the form of a gift card ask at the admissions desk.
