About Welcome to the Facebook page for Mathematics in Education and Industry (MEI). LIKE us to get updates on what we're up to, and to make your voice heard. Story MEI COMMUNITY RULES (see below)... We encourage comments on MEI related subjects in an intelligent and constructive manner. We reflect a wide range of interests for the benefit of all of our users. * Keep your comments relevant to the topic. Off-topic comments will be removed so we can keep discussions focused for all of our users. New discussions may be started on new topics and all relevant comments should be directed there. * Treat others as you would like to be treated. Be polite, even if you disagree. Abusive language, aggression and bullying are not allowed (whether aimed at users, individuals, MEI or other companies). Since the 1960s, we've worked to support mathematics teaching and learning. Any income generated through our work is used to support mathematics education. We love innovation and making you feel supported, which is why we pioneer the development of teaching and learning resources, including extensive online materials to support all major examination syllabuses. MEI offers teachers of all GCSE and A level specifications a range of continuing professional development (CPD) courses, as well as specialist tuition for students. We also work with industry to enhance mathematical skills in the workplace. There is a network of MEI branches around the country, offering local support for teachers. Find your local branch on the map in our Contact tab. We have a popular A level specification that is administered by OCR. We take responsibility for the curriculum, and we also provide course textbooks published by Hodder Education. MEI manages the government-funded Further Mathematics Support Programme, providing advice and support for teachers of AS/A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics in schools and colleges throughout England.
