Please follow Your LiveWire facebook page https://www.facebook.com/yourLiveWire In 2009, Warrington Libraries successfully bid for and were awarded funding from the Big Lottery Fund Community Libraries Programme so that we could build an amazing new library for the community of Orford, Warrington. We talked to the people of Orford and asked them exactly what they wanted in their new library - even down to the colour of the carpet - and then thanks to the Big Lottery Fund, we made it happen! Orford Park Library - previously on Poplars Avenue, Orford - was officially opened on 18 May 2012 by Her Majesty The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
