About A beautiful timber-framed mill situated on the River Tillingbourne. You'll find a warm welcome, a decent wine list, and good honest food cooked with care. Story Gomshall Mill is a beautiful timber-framed pub, sitting quite literally upon the River Tillingbourne. The history of the building goes back to Anglo-Saxon times (and that's just the manager, Andy). In a previous incarnation, it was a tea room and antiques shop and now we serve discerning diners and have our own resident antique (Andy, again, I'm afraid). With a truly picturesque and spacious cottage garden, nested within the Surrey Hills, we serve local ales (including local brewer Tillingbourne's), a good qaulity selection of wines and some cracking food lovingly created by our chefs. Food is served from 12 o'clock throughout the day, come rain or shine, flood or drought...
