About Stornoway's original contemporary cafe-bar. Story While HS-1 Cafe Bar, at the Royal Hotel, has youthful ‘attitude,’ it is popular with all ages and features a stylish, modern, international menu. Specialities include a pot of fresh mussels with a choice of white wine and garlic cream or tomato and basil sauce. Fresh Monkfish is also an excellent local treat - great value, too. There is a good range of steaks, pasta, wraps, salads, authentic curries and a fabulous burger. Vegetarians are particularly well catered for at HS-1, with at least eight menu selections, in addition to fish choices.
