About Beauty Bodycare Fragrances Story Ogg & Company can trace its history as a pharmacy in Ayr back to 1836. However, it didn’t take on its current identity until 1906 when the business was acquired by George Sutherland Ogg. Born in Scotland, the young George Ogg trained as a pharmacist in London before taking up a position with Savory & Moore in Bond Street. In 1920 George moved his shop to its current location in Newmarket Street, Ayr and although retiring in 1930 the shop and business still retain his name which is well known and respected for its heritage throughout Ayrshire. Today the pharmacy is owned by the Lime Tree Healthcare, a local family business operating three pharmacies in Ayrshire.
