About THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT `Remember us in your duaas' Story ***Aims & Objectives*** • Seek the pleasure of Allah (swt) by the teaching and promotion of Islam • Assist the Muslim youth to preserve their Islamic identity and take pride in it • Develop a deeper and better understanding of Islam among muslims and other communities • For our Sisters, much needed facilities with substantial separate praying area and dedicated classrooms • Establish a structured education system with an Islamic ethos • Deliver the highest standards of education to all generations in and around Edinburgh • Educate and nurture students according to the teachings of Islam • Establish a cultural and educational centre where we can instill the moral and spiritual teachings of Islam. • Under guidance of Education Board of Scotland establish a full syllabus in Arabic, Urdu & Islamic Studies • Establish Hifz, Alim and Alima classes • Create a nursery within the Academy • Working closely with other Islamic institutions in the area • Promote and facilitate Inter-Faith community projects • Unite the community “under one roof” Mission ***Our aim is to transform the building into a Model Masjid and Multipurpose Muslim Community Centre with the following much needed facilities and services*** Educational Classes & Workshops * Prayer Area for Men & Women * Islamic Ethos Nursery * Fitness Centre * Youth Centre * Elderly Support * Conference & Events Centre Products ***Syllabus*** Our syllabus will be delivered in English and will cover all aspects of Islam including: • Quranic recitation • Islamic History • Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh) • Islamic belief (Aqaaid) • Islamic manners (Aklaaq wal Adaab) This syllabus has been customized to our children’s needs and will be delivered by professional, qualified and experienced staff. ***Phase 1*** • Perform Prayers 5 times daily, Jummah and Eid prayers in congregation • Incorporate existing Islamic classes from surrounding area • Setting up a children’s nursery • Establish and begin evening and weekend educational classes and workshops for all ages ***Phase 2*** Rollout of children’s nursery • Organise Islamic educational excursions nationally and globally • Arrange visits from local schools and colleges • Provision of full Janazah and Ghusl facilities • Facilitate Islamic conferences and seminars
