About A service orientated salon Gliss offers a relaxed professional environment that is both contemporary and classic. Story Nick started his hairdressing career with a prominant hairdressing company in Monmouth and Cardiff. He progressed from apprentice through to senior stylist, there he benefitted from extensive training sessions with Vidal Sassoon until he and Jayne left for Australia, where they both worked in premier salons in Darwin. On his return to the UK in 1990 Nick started work in his hometown of Lydney where he was salon owner of Root66 for ten years. He continued to work at Absolute until July this year when he and Jayne launched Hair@Gliss. Jayne started hairdressing in London at the age of 13! after serving her apprenticeship in Lichfield, Staffs she too began working in a Monmouth salon where she met Nick. On her return from Australia Jayne began working at 'Bradley Hairdressing' in Chepstow until launching Hair@Gliss in Lydney.
