About Dyke Primary School Facebook page will keep parents and carers up-to-date with school news, events and important dates for the diary. Story Dyke Primary School is a non-denominational school serving the village of Dyke and the surrounding rural area. This session the school has a roll of 91 children taught in 4 multi composite classes. The school building comprises of 4 classrooms and has an open area which accommodates groups for more active learning activities. The school also has a gym hall and canteen area at the opposite side of the road which also houses the music room. We have a large grassed playing field at the rear of the building and a tarred play area to the front. We have developed a vegetable garden at the back of the hall and have a quiet space at the rear of the school building ideally suited to teaching small groups. We have also installed an adventure trail in the back playground and a storytelling area at the front of the building.
