About The Devon School of English is a friendly, family-run school that has been welcoming international students to this beautiful part of England for over 40 years. Story In a quiet residential area, just a short walk from the beach and the park, the Devon School of English has been providing high quality English tuition for over 40 years. Its two Victorian buildings - the red stone Old Vicarage and The Glendale - have been lovingly adapted to house 19 bright and appealing classrooms, 2 student common rooms, coffee bars, computer rooms and a self-access library. Outside, mature trees and hedges envelop the schools’ private gardens and patios, attractive places to sit and talk with new friends or peaceful places to read and reflect.
