About Steki Restaurants are beloved for bringing Tastes from Greece in Brighton and Portsmouth since 1998. Visit and see for yourself! Story Translated to English Steki means “a place where people meet habitually”. In 1998 two brothers had the amazing idea of opening a Greek Taverna in Portsmouth. After a lot of consideration they named it “Steki” thinking that this is a place where people can have a relaxed and informal meal with friends and family. They ran the family business with great success for 8 years, but their dream was to open another Steki. Eight years later, in September 2006 that dream came true. Another Steki opened in Brighton to continue the family business. A trip to Steki means fine wine, excellent food and great value for money served in a relaxed and informal setting!
