About Our friendly, professional team is dedicated to the care of your pets and providing the highest possible standard of service because we know how important your animals are to you. We strive to make sure your pets live long, enjoyable and happy lives. Story I thought we'd better introduce ourselves, now that there are two of us posting on the Clockhouse Facebook Page! Firstly, here is Sarah-Jane; "I am fairly new to clockhouse vets, having started in 2015 when I made the scary decision to ditch my safe but unsatisfactory office job and chase my dream. I have always been passionate about animal care and I am currently working towards a position as a Student Veterinary Nurse. My love for animals doesn't stop at work though. I own, what many people have called, 'a small zoo' ranging from small and furry to long and scaly. So it's 24/7 animals for me and I wouldn't have it any other way! I feel proud and privileged to work for clockhouse, our team is amazing and no day is the same -we just never know what is going to come through those doors. I hope that through this facebook page I can give you an insight into life in the hospital and show off some of our gorgeous visitors ... the non human ones that is!" As for me... My name is Claire Coles-Jones,I am a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse, and unlike the lovely Sarah, I am not new to the Clockhouse Vets...in fact I am currently working my 23rd year there (which makes me feel quite old...!) I believe now the longest standing member of staff!! I started as a trainee some time ago, and over the years have enjoyed the hugely varied work at the Hospital, but my favourite time has to be when I was running Nurse clinics full time, with most of my interest in behaviour work. However now with a husband, 2 children, 12 chickens, 2 guinea pigs, a cheeky dog, 2 naughty kittens, a horse and some very wild Soay sheep, I can only manage part time work (and that's to go in for a rest from a hectic home life!). I absolutely love my job, and the people that I work with, and consider myself extremely lucky to be able to say that. Thank you for supporting our Clockhouse Page, it's lovely to get the feedback and comments that we have been getting. We hope you continue to enjoy the stories that we post - especially the new Sylvester Sunday...I have a feeling that Sylvester's following is about to get a whole heap bigger....!
