If you do park here the pay terminal isn't in plain sight. You need to walk onto the platform from the car park and they're just inside."},{"text":"Great centralised area of York to park."},{"text":"Good price after 9:30 am for the day. The entrance wasn't obvious: when you turn in facing the station, bend round to the left don't get put off by no-entry signs, which are to the right only. Pay before you leave at the end of your stay. The machines are inside the open end of the station, past the bike racks, by the nearest platform; not easy to find. When I left several registrations including mine weren't recognised by the machines but pressing for help got good guidance from a staff voice."},{"text":"Always I miss my train"},{"text":"Overall, not too bad but it's a bit expensive. The car park here is tucked away beside the railway station. It's fairly close to the town centre - roughly a 5 minute walk - and quite well sheltered. One day off-peak is £7, or on-peak is £14.
