About Nottinghamshire's own Heritage Railway. Our main station is at Ruddington, off the A60, south of Nottingham. Our services run to East Leake and Loughborough, passing some of the region's most picturesque scenery. Check-out www.gcrn.co.uk Story Formerly known as Nottingham Transort Heritage Centre, GCRN operates classic steam and diesel trains from Ruddington Fields station (off Mere Way in Ruddington), through East Leake and Stamford on Soar to Loughborough. Our 10-mile railway passes through some of south Nottinghamshire's most picturesque scenery. Our main station area at Ruddington also features a Road Transport Museum, Cafeteria, Gift Shop, Model and Miniature Railways and a Childrens Play Area.
