About High Bank Day Nursery is a private children's nursery situated on a working farm in the village of Stapleton, near Darlington. We provide high quality care for children aged six weeks to five-year-old and are an Ofsted rated 'good' nursery. Story Our nursery is divided into four main rooms, all of which are designed to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage The nursery is complemented by a large state-of-the-art outdoor play area that was purposely built with the different stage of a child’s development in mind. The aim at High Bank is to create a fun, homely environment where children are given the opportunity to develop to their full potential. "We're a children's nursery based on a working farm in the village of Stapleton, near Darlington. We provide day care for children aged six weeks to school age and are rated as 'outstanding' by our regulator. The nursery is divided into four rooms reflecting the ages and development of the children. We have an outstanding outdoor area with mud kitchen, children’s theatre, pirate ship and garden for planting fruit and vegetables. There's also a mini-farm where children can safely interact with pigs, cattle, chickens and goats, as well as a Forest School led by a nationally accredited Forest School professional. In our Ofsted report both the teaching and behaviour of the children was described as outstanding."
