"I enjoy teaching, and have been teaching piano and general music in my home for more than thirty years. My formal qualifications for this are a bachelor of music degree, and a diploma from the Royal Academy of Music. I try to provide interesting lessons relevant to my pupil's needs, and teach all ages, starting at six years old. Most students have a half-hour lesson, for which they pay £15. Many people enjoy informal 'play-it-by-ear' pop or jazz style lessons, but I also give more formal tuition using the grade exam system, if that is wanted.I also tune, repair and move Pianos, within a certain radius.As well as teaching, I am a Musician for hire. I have many years experience playing at events, celebrations, and for background ambience."
